Motivation
To the people constantly reminding me that I can't
This is neither a sweet talk nor a rant
This is a declaration
A fact, a revelation
Your lack of comprehension
Doesn't make my dream a delusion
You follow the law and the regulations
I follow my beliefs and my intuitions
Social conduct created by the powerful according to their notion
It's not right it's just a barrier for our imagination
Followed by people who want the easy way out
Sacrificing their opinion, following the system without a doubt
It's my identity, my devotion
It's my weapon to stop destruction
What you consider a purposeless figure
Is my existential motivation

Why do vessels feed the muscle?
Bones hold up our legs
And a head with strong neck
That its aspirations rise?
The best of us accomplish
Tasks of a higher calibre

The title means "hypocrisy". People are often very quick to criticize others, but fail to see the same flaws they despise... in themselves.
(This one I didn't translate to English line by line, because of the structure of Japanese grammar. So the first three lines are translated as whole and the translation is divided into three lines again. I think I might start doing so in my future Tanka.)

I really love your poems and I take delight in understanding both languages (though I rely on English more hehe).
You always manage to capture something simple yet straight to the point with such a few lines. I enjoy that
