人間の
欲に限りは
あるのかな
問い掛けるのに
答えを望む

Ningen no
Yoku ni kagiri wa
Aru no ka na
Toikakeru no ni
Kotae wo nozomu

Is there
A limit to
The human greed?
You ask, and yet
You desire the answer
The title means "hypocrisy". People are often very quick to criticize others, but fail to see the same flaws they despise... in themselves.

(This one I didn't translate to English line by line, because of the structure of Japanese grammar. So the first three lines are translated as whole and the translation is divided into three lines again. I think I might start doing so in my future Tanka.)

I really love your poems and I take delight in understanding both languages (though I rely on English more hehe).
You always manage to capture something simple yet straight to the point with such a few lines. I enjoy that
